Fly Friday #171 by Andre Stepanian

This is one my many patterns that I use for coho in our local rivers in the Pacific west coast. The flies are very simple and effective specially in low clear water conditions. My favorite river in Vancouver where I reside is the Harrison river which runs with a slow flow and is very clear. The coho spook easily under these conditions so these flies are fished on a clear tip line or sometimes just on a full floating line with a floroucarbon leader.
